"We here at St. Mary’s will go from this Mass to process through the streets of Norwalk with the Blessed Sacrament. What will people say or do or think as they see us going down West Avenue, singing, led by the Cross and candles, smoking censer, and the priest carrying the Blessed Sacrament under a canopy? And what will you say when someone you know stops you tomorrow or the next day to ask: ”What was that all about? What were you doing? What was the point of it all?” Will you be able to tell them the truth? There is no purpose. We were just being children of God playing before the Lord in joy."
