| I continue to thank all who are making the effort and sacrifice to continue to support St. Mary’s financially. If anyone needs help setting up an online giving account we in the office can assist. Feel free to mail your donations, drop them in the mailbox on the front porch of the rectory or in the safe in the downstairs chapel.
The downstairs chapel is open for prayer every day from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm. A reminder that although not all of our scheduled Masses are being livestreamed, I am saying all the Masses and all the Mass intentions to date have been fulfilled. At the moment we are not accepting any new Mass intentions. We will wait until we are back on a regular schedule. Thankfully, as I write on Tuesday, the weather seems to be improving. Flowers have sprouted up around the church and rectory and the trees are beginning to put out their leaves. These are indeed symbols of the Resurrection and reasons for hope. We continue to pray for an end to the current situation. It seems that we are getting closer to a return to “normal”. I pray for our recently deceased parishioners daily. At the moment, with the help of the funeral homes we are only doing graveside services. However, I have offered a private Requiem Mass for each one who has died. When things return to normal, we will offer memorial Masses in the church so that family and friends may pray the Mass together for their deceased loved one. Stay well and keep praying. FR |

Por el momento no estamos aceptando nuevas intenciones de misa. Esperaremos hasta que regresemos a un horario regular. Afortunadamente, al escribir estas líneas hoy martes, el clima parece estar mejorando. Las plantas están floreciendo alrededor de la iglesia y la rectoría y los árboles están comenzando a retoñar con nuevas hojas. Estos son, de hecho, símbolos de la resurrección y motivos de esperanza. Continuamos orando por el fin de la situación actual. Parece que nos estamos acercando a un retorno a la normalidad. Rezo diariamente por nuestros feligreses recientemente fallecidos. Por el momento, con la ayuda de las funerarias solo estamos haciendo servicios junto a la tumba. Sin embargo, he ofrecido una misa privada de Requiem por cada uno de los fallecidos. Cuando las cosas vuelvan a la normalidad, ofreceremos misas conmemorativas en la iglesia para que familiares y amigos puedan rezar la misa juntos por su ser querido fallecido.
